At St James we are working very hard to improve standards of uniform. The reason we want our children in the correct uniform is directly linked to high standards. We constantly tell the children that if they look smart on the outside, they feel smart on the inside. Being in the correct uniform helps the children to feel part of our St James’ family, it also helps to create a school ethos of high standards and high expectations. We make no apologies in having this high expectation of parents to ensure their child is in the correct uniform, because you as parents would be incredibly disappointed if school didn't want high expectations and standards for your children. Wearing a smart school uniform also prepares children for high school and not to mention future careers that your children may wish to undertake where uniform is a non negotiable.
